Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tikiroofing.com (the "Site") and the services offered by Tiki Roofing Co. ("Tiki Roofing," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Tiki Roofing provides residential roofing services, including inspection, repair, and replacement, throughout the Charleston, South Carolina metro area. The scope, price, and timeline of any project is established in a written quote or contract we provide to you separately.

2. Free inspections and quotes

Inspections we offer through the Site are free of charge and come with no obligation to hire us. Quotes are good for one year from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Communications consent

When you submit a contact form, book an inspection on the Site, or otherwise provide us your phone number or email, you consent to receive communications from us related to your inquiry, including phone calls, SMS text messages, and emails. SMS message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

4. Workmanship warranty

Tiki Roofing provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on our installations, subject to the terms set out in your project contract. The warranty covers installation defects and excludes damage caused by acts of God, neglect, modifications by other parties, or normal wear.

5. Manufacturer warranties

Manufacturer warranties on materials (shingles, membranes, metal panels, etc.) are provided directly by the manufacturer. We register applicable warranties on your behalf, but the manufacturer — not Tiki Roofing — is responsible for honoring material warranties.

6. Payment

Payment terms are set out in your project contract. Unless otherwise stated, deposits are due before scheduling, progress payments may be required for larger projects, and final payment is due upon substantial completion of the work.

7. Cancellation and rescheduling

Free inspections can be rescheduled or cancelled at no cost up until the start time. Project cancellations after a contract has been signed are subject to the terms of that contract.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiki Roofing's total liability arising out of or relating to the Site or any service we provide is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Site content

Content on the Site — text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Tiki Roofing or used under license. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, modify, or republish it without our written permission.

10. Third-party services

The Site uses third-party providers (e.g., Vercel for hosting, Twilio for SMS and voice, Resend for email). Your use of the Site is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina.
