Metal roofing in Charleston, SC.

Metal roofing offers long-lasting protection built for Charleston's coastal climate. From premium standing seam systems with concealed fasteners to more economical corrugated metal roofing, we'll help you choose the right system for your home, budget, and long-term goals.

What we install

Two metal roofing options.

Both offer the durability and distinctive look of metal roofing. The right choice comes down to your home, budget, and how long you want the roof to perform.

Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Our premium metal roofing option. Concealed fasteners create clean architectural lines while protecting the fastening system from direct exposure to the elements. An excellent choice for homeowners looking for maximum longevity and a high-end finished appearance.

Corrugated Metal Roofing

A more economical way to get the durability and appearance of a metal roof. Corrugated panels use exposed fasteners and offer a classic metal-roof look at a lower investment than standing seam.

Not sure which is right for your home? We'll walk you through the differences during your inspection and recommend the option that makes the most sense.

FAQ

Metal Roofing questions, answered.

Is a metal roof worth the extra cost over asphalt?

Metal roofing costs more upfront than asphalt shingles, but it can offer a significantly longer lifespan and lower long-term maintenance. Whether the additional investment makes sense depends on your home, budget, and how long you plan to stay. We'll walk you through both options honestly.

Is a metal roof loud when it rains?

Not like the metal roofs you may be picturing. On a residential home, the roof decking, underlayment, attic space, and insulation all help reduce sound. You may notice rain slightly more than with asphalt shingles, but a properly installed metal roof shouldn't sound like a metal shed.

What's the difference between standing seam and corrugated metal roofing?

Standing seam uses concealed fasteners and offers a cleaner, more architectural appearance with excellent long-term durability. Corrugated metal typically uses exposed fasteners and provides a more economical way to get the durability and appearance of a metal roof. We'll help you determine which system makes the most sense for your home.

How long does a metal roof last?

A properly installed metal roof can last decades, but lifespan depends on the type of metal system, material, coating, environment, and maintenance. Standing seam systems generally offer greater longevity than exposed-fastener corrugated systems.
