Our story
A Charleston roofing crew with one stubborn rule.
Tiki Roofing is built on a single principle: do roofs, and do them better than anyone else in the Lowcountry. Decades of experience on Charleston roofs, and we still don't do anything else.
The why
Why roofs only.
The full-service exterior crews — gutters, siding, sunrooms, roofs, all under one truck — are good at nothing. Roofs leak. Gutters sag. Siding goes on crooked. Customers get passed between crews and details fall through the cracks.
So we wrote one rule on the side of the trailer: Roofs only. Not because gutters are bad. Because the only way to build a roof that lasts is to have a crew that doesn't think about anything else.
The crew
Roofers on payroll. Zero subs.
Every Tiki roofer is on payroll — not a sub, not a 1099 contractor. We pay above market and we never sub the work out to whoever's cheapest that week.
That's more expensive. It's also why our jobs finish a day early instead of a week late.
The warranty
Lifetime workmanship. In writing. No fine print.
Most roofers offer a 10-year workmanship warranty with a fine-print clause that prorates it down to nothing after year three. Ours is different.
- Lifetime means lifetime — for as long as you own the home, our install is guaranteed.
- Workmanship means everything we touched: nailing pattern, flashing, underlayment, ridge venting, sealants, the works.
- Transferable to one subsequent owner — so it survives the sale of your home.
- Plus the full manufacturer warranty on the materials themselves (typically 50 years for asphalt, lifetime for metal).
- One phone number when something goes wrong. No 1-800 number, no claim forms. You call us. We come out.
How we work
What it's like to hire us.
Free, in-person inspection
A Tiki roofer comes out — not a salesperson. Climbs the roof, takes 20–30 photos, and shows you exactly what's there. No pressure, no rush.
Written, itemized, fixed-price quote
Within 24 hours we email a quote that lists every component, the timeline, the warranty, and a single bottom number. That number doesn't change.
We start when we say we'll start
For repairs, that's usually within 1–2 weeks. For full replacements, 2–4 weeks depending on the season. We don't double-book.
Finish a day early. Clean up a day better.
Most asphalt replacements take 1–2 days. Magnetic sweep across every inch of your yard. The only way you'll know we were there is the new roof.
Want us to take a look?
Free inspection, no pressure. We'll tell you the truth — even if the truth is your roof has five more good years in it.
